No one knew that tragedy was lurking in the
corner as final year students of the Imo state
university finished writing their exams and
embraced the normal pouring of liquid on them by
school mates to celebrate them.
However , it was water pouring gone awry as a
student who was only identified as Chisom got
dead Wed...nesday 26th November,2104.
An eyewitness narrated that the victim fell into a
ditch as he was running around and pouring water
on final year students and by the time he was
rescued from the ditch he has died.
"We were celebrating our final year students by
pouring them water, so as we were running around
he fell inside a pit full of dirty water but it
didn’t cover his head but before we could draw
him out he was dead already because he was
asthmatic” the witness said.
His corpse has since been deposited at Aladinma
Mortuary from where it was taken to his home
town Ihiala in Anambra
All attention is on the school management for its
position to be made known on the issue.
