i remember growing up and thinking once i get 
money i can get any woman i want, 
am not the richest man in Nigeria but am ok..
Through my journey of life i have learnt that 
money cant really buy love, all my reasons are 
based on statistics and heart breaking experiences
1. As a rich guy you get women who pretend 
around you a lot : you never get to meet them 
behind their beautiful shells, they try to compete 
for your attention, faking smiles and laughter, 
e.t.c
2. They dont really care for you just lie to her 
one day that your business is going down, you took 
a loan from the bank , and you cant pay up, 
observe the way she will change overnight 
disregarding all you have done in the past
3. women you get are mostly after what they 
want to get from you not what they want to 
impact in your life. it starts with sex 
manipulation, before sex you will see them making 
demands, sometimes its like you have to pay for 
their love and affection. 
Remember one of my friend, last week he was 
sick, the girlfriend came to take care of him, and 
she also took lots of money from hm when she was 
going
4 . when you are not smart they cheat on you in 
worst cases, you will be the father christmas, 
while she goes out flexing with other niggas, you 
foot the bills. makes me wonder if the stingy 
person is good , while the person who is caring is 
the fool
5 . The love lasts as long as the money is there yes 
thats true even in marriage, just keep the money 
flowing if not, ..........
i have already told my mum to look for a wife for 
me, am tired of these gold diggers , maybe thats 
the best idea. 
miss having real love, passion, emotions in my life

Avoid This Beverage to Reduce Your Risk of Having a Stroke and Heart Attack

When feeling tired and low on energy, many 
people’s first reaction is to reach for a cup of 
coffee. Energy drinks are the other popular 
‘solution’. One of the most famous energy 
drinks, Red Bull, created a name for itself as a 
beverage that ‘gives you wings’. Sponsoring 
many extreme sport events, Red Bull’s 
marketing motto states that they support 
daring people and innovative ideas. They don’t 
mention the potential health dangers of their 
signature drink.
The popular Red Bull has now been associated 
with cardiovascular problems, including stroke 
and heart attack. It has been banned in Norway, 
Denmark and Uruguay, and France stopped 
selling it between 1996 and 2008.
Red Bull thickens the blood and provides the 
body with an unnatural level of stimulation. 
Scott Willoughby, lead researcher from the 
Cardiovascular Research Center at the Royal 
Adelaide Hospital in Australia , reports that one 
hour after drinking just one can of Red Bull, 
blood consistency of the research participants 
became abnormal and resembled that of a heart 
patient. Willoughby warns that when combined 
with stress or high blood pressure, Red Bull can 
cause damage to blood vessels and creates the 
risk of blood clotting. This is especially 
dangerous for people who have a predisposition 
to cardiovascular disease.
Red Bull’s primary ingredients are caffeine and 
sugar. The latter is in the form of 
glucuronolactone, sucrose and glucose. It also 
contains aspartame, the artificial sweetener 
that has been linked to neurotoxic, metabolic, 
allergenic, fetal, and carcinogenic effects. The 
Red Bull’s original manufacturer in Austria even 
warns their costumers not to drink more than 
two cans a day.
As with other caffeinated beverages, Red Bull 
gives you a quick high. But this is short-lived 
and it turns into a low, so you soon feel you 
need another energy boost. And another can (or 
cup). You enter a vicious cycle and many people 
get addicted to Red Bull and other energy 
drinks.
On top of the adverse effects connected with 
high caffeine content, Red Bull contains 
different chemicals that have not been properly 
researched yet. Many people also combine it with 
alcohol, which adds to the potential dangers. It 
means mixing a stimulant with a depressant. This 
can overload the body and lead to serious health 
problems. According to an article published in 
2001 in the journal Medicine, Science, and Law , 
when combined with ephedra, which is also a 
stimulant, Red Bull can cause acute psychosis.

lives. He who keeps you does not slumber nor sleep.
If nobody is there for you, God and the heavenly 
hosts are there always for you. If nobody wants to 
share in your pains, be my friend and I'll stand by 
you through my sad little life. I may not offer silver 
or gold but believe me, we can work together to 
break the jinx.

You've been in school, attend night classes and read 
extensively, yet your GP is not encouraging. Worry 
no more for all is well from now henceforth. Claim 
victory for yourself and watch out for rapid 
changes. Your enemies will be totally defeated and

your patience. Just combine hardwork and prayers.

Nigeria climbs up Wealth List….Nigeria economy set to overtake UK Economy given current Growth Rate!

According to a recently released PWC report available on most top British & 
European Newspapers and Tabloids, 
The UK economy will be overtaken by Nigeria 
and Mexico by 2050 as the country currently sitting among the Top Ten economies 
in the World may be displaced by these emerging economies given the current GDP 
growth rate of the country.
The UK’s economy’s will lag behind emerging markets, as its GDP growth rate falls 
from 2.3 per cent in 2014 to around 1.8 per cent in 2050, the report attributes an 
aging population and slothfulness among the countries workers as reason for the 
decline in the UK’s productivity.
Nigeria currently the 39th strongest Economy in the World under President 
Jonathan’s government in terms of GDP, Vietnam and the Philippines have high 
projected average growth rates of around 4.5-5.5 per cent per year until 2050. 
Malaysia is also projected to grow at around 4 per cent, which is higher than 
China’s projected average growth rate of around 3.5 per cent.
By 2050, according to a World Bank, Goldman Sachs study it is believed that if this 
current growth rate is maintained, Mexico will have become the Eight biggest 
economy in the world, and Nigeria the 13th by 2050. Turkey, Vietnam, Colombia, 
Poland and Malaysia are also slated to be the fast-growing large economies in the 
years taking us up to the middle of the century.
John Hawksworth, PwC’s chief economist, said: “Europe needs to up its game if it’s 
not to be left behind by this historic shift of global economic power, which is 
moving us back to the kind of Asian-led world economy last seen before the 
Industrial Revolution. The US may hold up better, provided it can remain at the 
global technological frontier, and the UK could also perform well by G7 standards 
if it remains open to trade, investment, people and ideas.”
However, while it is easy to cite mammoth growth for emerging markets, PwC did 
state that for these economies to realise their full potential, their respective 
governments would need to pursue and maintain sensible economic policies.

Dear Job-seeking Nigerian Graduate, Here’s what You Should Have Done in Final Year

Year after year, Nigerian institutions continue to churn out 
thousands of graduates into the labour market. Rather 
unfortunately, statistics continue to show that most of these 
graduates are unemployable. However, we need to ask ourselves 
exactly what criteria was used to come to this conclusion. If 
Nigerian graduates have been classified as unattractive to 
employers because of their inability to communicate succinctly in 
a 5 minute interview, dress smartly or scale through mind- 
daunting blitzes in the form of aptitude tests, then it really isn’t 
a case of unemployability (at least in terms of our technical 
knowledge), but of our inability to adequately prepare for 
transition to the workplace. As you would imagine, this 
preparation process should begin from the University.
Again we are suggesting five great moves every penultimate or 
final year student should be making to ensure a smooth, 
successful transition to their desired industries.
1. Mapping out your post-NYSC route.
The truth is that most Nigerian graduates are unemployed 
because they failed to decide what their short-term plans (2-3 
years after graduation) would be. For some it would be Master’s, 
an Entry Level full-time position or both. This decision is best 
made in final or penultimate year in college, so you have enough 
time to prepare accordingly. For those plying the Master’s route 
abroad, you might need to apply a year ahead of desired intake, 
which means you need to decide early. Also some scholarships can 
be secured even before applying to postgraduate programs and 
final year would be a good time to start. For those seeking 
entry-level positions to start their careers, you probably would 
want to conclude on this path earlier, so you can refine your 
presence for the market place early enough (by adopting the tips 
below). Of course, there is another category that would love to 
keep options open by applying for Master’s degrees/scholarships 
and entry-level positons as well. Same advice applies here.
2. Serious Drills of aptitude tests formats (SHL, Dragnet)
It’s a good thing you have wound up that 4.85 CGPA and are 
leading your department. However if you are not able to do 
typical SHL or Dragnet tests and score at least 60% every time, 
those 3 significant figures might just be for show. Ideally, first 
year to penultimate year should be spent building your CGPA, but 
if you are looking to transit to the workplace successfully, you 
have to change curriculums in final year, ASAP. In addition to 
project work, final year should be for practicing such tests as 
SHL , Dragnet, Kenexa and Talentq. These are notorious tests that 
have ruined the hopes of several stellar-GPA candidates vying 
for competitive positions in top MNCs. Conversely, not-so-stellar 
GPA candidates who have a grasp on these tests are finding their 
way in, and fast. Of course, those going for NYSC immediately 
still have ample time to prepare but not after the service period. 
A similar Caveat goes out to graduates seeking to do their 
Master’s in US or Canadian institutions right after graduation. 
The GRE is no mean feat. You should begin preparations as early 
as possible, most top GRE scorers start 2 months ahead of test 
date to prepare.

graduates fumble over interviews after putting in so much effort 
at previous stages of the recruitment process. Interviewing skills 
are majorly public speaking skills, so the earlier you started 
working on your stutters, pause-fillers (em, you know, eh), 
verbosity and low-speaking, the better your chances of excelling 
at interviews. Most schools have a public speaking class as part of 
their entrepreneurial programs and if your school doesn’t have

4. Actively participating in Career fairs/ Networking
Most top Nigerian schools typically have recruitment/ career days 
where students meet employers who have diverse agendas, from 
workshops to aptitude tests and actual recruitment. Career days 
are good avenues for aspiring graduates to initiate relationships 
with employees of prospective firms, most of which are alumni of 
the school. For schools without such opportunities, recruitment 
sites like LinkedIn serve a similar purpose. A good reason for 
networking would be that, having such connections can be the 
difference between a good and a great candidate interviewing 
for a role. While the good candidate has general information 
about company A, the great candidate has utilized his internal 
network at company A to find out exactly what makes the 
company unique. He is also able to get an idea of what the 
recruitment process would involve at the company – What kind of 
tests? How many stages of interviews? What type of interview 
questions (behavioural or Competency based)? All the other guy 
(the good candidate) knows is that he has interviews with 
company A, and he would prepare for all types of interviews 
available – technical, behavioural, competency based etc., a 
terrible case of misuse of physical and intellectual resources.
5. Using the Jobs/Vacancies section of Nairaland (Seriously)
And no, I’m not a Nairaland moderator, but this is just as helpful 
as any other point hitherto stated. Just like you graduated from 
school to the labour market in real life, you also have to 
graduate from the education section to the job/vacancies section. 
There’s no telling how much useful information you would find 
there. From internships (For those that have to wait for NYSC 
mobilization) to Full-time Jobs, to NYSC-suited programs (like 
the ViMP program of Junior Achievers), there are diverse 
opportunities for you to explore right from final year. The truth 
is that most of these recruitment processes take as long as 6 
months and even up to a year in some instances. So starting to 
apply from final/NYSC year would only be strategic in timing. 
Moreover, you have the opportunity of lots of real interviews 
(and aptitude tests of course) before you graduate/finish NYSC, 
so you are much more prepared for your “real” interviews if you 
don’t land a job during the period.

Last sunday , in one of the new generation church 
i attended , I heard the man of God say that a 
lot people have spiritual wife or husband without 
even knowing they do. And that this spiritual 
spouse hinder them from achieving a lot of good 
things in life.
The man of God went further to say that , if you 
are a man and sometimes when you wake up in the 
night , you found out that you have Fluid in your 
pants or night wear, it's an indication that you 
have just had sex to a spiritual wife.
This got me really thinking ... Guys what do you 
say about this ?

BREAKING News: INEC Appoints NEW Chairman, Prof Nazim Mimiko From March 1, 2015?

The successor to the out-going Independent 
National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman, 
Prof Attahiru Jega has being nominated.
The In-coming INEC chairman is Prof Nazim 
Olufemi Mimiko, a professor of Political Science 
and International Relation and a former VC of 
Adekunle Ajasin University, Ondo State.
The embattled Prof Jega who has long 
compromised his position as INEC Boss, will be 
officially proceeding on his three months terminal 
leave with effect from March 1, 2015 in 
compliance with the civil service procedure.

Why Do Mén Chéat? Here Is The Real Truth

Laura, 34, who had been through a terrible divorce a while back and Holly, 28, 
who broke up with her fiancé because she found him in bed with his secretary, 
get up close and personal with us to share their thoughts and experiences to 
explain why men cheat. We were the ones asking questions while they were 
replying.
Do men cheat because of sex?
“Séx is probably the major cause for all men to cheat”, said Laura. Holly was 
quick to point out, “It is not always the case that men don’t get great séx at 
home. I know it sounds harsh, but men sometimes find it hard to stay faithful”. 
Friends, better double check on this one in your own life.
Do men cheat because of lack of respect?
“Jonathan, my best friend’s partner cheated on her for 6 months before she 
found out. He said she did not give him respect which made him go astray”, said 
Holly. “This was probably the only genuine reason a man could give to the 
question, why do men cheat. Genuine, but not good enough”, said Laura. “He 
could always have talked it out. I’m not sure if lack of respect is the 
justification for cheating”, she added.
Do men cheat because of monotony?
“Mike always told me that his life was getting monotonous day by day. He would 
come home from work and complain that every day was the same. I feel that this 
frustration drove him to cheat”, said Laura. We could see the anger on Laura’s 
face and could sure understand what she meant when she said, “Life is tough 
and can sometimes get monotonous. That does answer the question ‘why do mean 
cheat’, does it?”, she asked.
Do men cheat because of long distance relationships?
We were hoping Holly would answer this question and tell us what it has got to do 
with long distance relationships, because she was in one herself. She did not 
disappoint us and gave us some great insight. “My ex and I were living in 
different cities for about 2 years. I got suspicious when he started avoiding my 
calls and started using frequent excuses and reasons to avoid my calls. I decided 
to travel to Atlanta where he was based. I crashed into his apartment only to 
find him with his secretary”, said Holly. “My case is a typical answer to our 
question. I think that the distance caused my ex to cheat”, she said, 
disappointed.
Do men cheat because they are inherently unfaithful?
“Absolutely not”, said Holly. We all bump into charming men who may flirt a bit 
with women but stay in their limits. Men who can stay committed in the most 
vulnerable of situations are hard to find, but they do exist”, she added. This 
brings us to the conclusion that men aren’t inherently unfaithful and hence, it 
can’t be the answer to our question.
Do men cheat because of chauvinism?
“I think that the idea of chauvinism and male dominance has got a lot to do with 
unwrapping the answers to our question”, pondered Laura. Holly agreed and 
said, “Male chauvinism can sometimes make a man think that that he can get 
away with everything, including cheating on his partner. No wonder we see many 
male political leaders, corporate biggies and big celebrity names caught up in 
cheating scandals”.

The University of British Columbia Okanagan says the sociology degree will focus on

It's Official! INEC Postpones Elections by 6 Weeks..Now March 28th and April 11th

INEC chairman Prof. Attahiru Jega just briefed the media on the outcome of their 
meeting today. He said the 2015 general elections has been postponed by 6 weeks.
Jega said the decision was made after briefings with various stakeholders notably 
political parties, security agencies, civil society and the media. He said 26 out of the 
28 registered parties were at the meeting. Jega blamed the postponement on lack of 
security and collection of PVC. He said only 66% of the 96% PVCs has been collected
New dates: the presidential election will now hold March 28th while Governorship 
election will now hold April 11th.

PLEASE ADVICE: Is Breastfeeding Inside The Church, Right Or Wrong?

Behind the pew I sat this morning during morning 
mass, some noise filtered into my ears. Taking a 
look backwards, I saw a young nursing mother with 
a big "well-ovallized" bosom breastfeeding her 
baby.
I must admit, I lost concentration on the mass 
proceedings for a few minutes.
After a while, I turned back again and told her 
that it isn't proper for her to breastfeed her 
baby inside the church.
Her response was, "my baby is hungry, why won't I 
feed him?"
And my rejoinder was, "you ought to have done 
that outside the church building"
Whether she took the correction in good faith or 
not I wouldn't know because I never looked back 
again.

impossible. However, a new research is giving is an 
insight into the kind of woman men want.. 
According to the new study,the majority of men 
want to settle down with a woman who is cleverer 
than them after being inspired by George 
Clooney.It’s known as the “Clooney Effect”
Modern men want to follow the example of the 
actor, 53, who married his wife Amal, 37, a world 
renowned human rights lawyer, last September.
The research said that 87 per cent of males would 
be happy with a woman who is more intellectual 
than them and earns more money.
Nearly half actively seek out an ‘independent, 
career-driven woman’ as a potential life 
partner.And some 58 per cent would even be 
happy with a woman who is ‘considerably taller’ 
than they are, the study found.
Biological anthropologist Helen Fisher said that 
the days of men wanting a dependent partner 
were over.

UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA NSUKKA, MATRICULATES 5600 STUDENTS TOMORROW BEING THE 7 th OF FEB

The 41st matriculation ceremony 
of the University of Nigeria, 
Nsukka will hold tomorrow been 
7 th of February 2015 to admit 
freshmen formally to full 
membership of the university. 
All freshmen are expected to 
solemnly and publicly make a 
declaration of loyalty to the 
University of Nigeria on that day, being tomorrow. 
The ceremony will take place in the various faculties at both the Nsukka and 
Enugu campuses of the University at 10.00am.
Full participation in the ceremony, is 
mandatory for all freshmen. it is 
mandatory that every matriculated 
student who is fully cleared will sign the 
matriculation register. 
Any freshman who fails to participate in 
the ceremony loses the chance of being 
formally admitted into the university 
community .Consequently, he or she will be 
regarded as not having fulfilled the 
requirements for full studentship in the 
university.
VENUES
Guess by now all the venues should have 
being posted in all faculty bill boards and hence made known to everyone but 
for those who still don’t know his/her venue, I advice you should meet your 
course reps or fellow/course mates so as not to be left out.
