in Anambra State. 
Chief Moses Okoye, the father of Peter and Paul Okoye of P-Square fame was buried 
his hometown in Ifitedunu, Anambra State.

Reasons Why Most Nigerian Girls Claim They Lost Their Virginity Through Ra*pe

It has come to my notice that every nigerian girl you ask if she's a virgin or not they 
all claim to have been raped by either their ex boy friend,uncle, house boy or street 
boys with a popular tag "he threatened me not to tell anyone else he'll kill me" now 
let's look some of the reason why they always use the word rape when asked about 
their virginity status.
1 she wants to be seen as a saint: no nigerian girl will ever agree that she succumb to 
sex willingly rather she will always make the current guy project the scenario like she 
was actually been molested so the guy can begin to feel pity for her sometimes they 
go as far as shading tears once a guy asks "are you still a virgin" so as to create an 
atmosphere of been seen as a saint. guys beware of such ladies cos same way the cry 
in your present same way they do with another guy.
2 she doesn't want to 
be seen as a cheap girl: even if she use her two legs waka go the guy house she go 
still say he raped me, why? so that the present guy won't say she as been sampling 
with every dick and harry. Note am saying girls are not been raped but most of them 
make rape sure bail out not to be seen as cheap.
3 she wants to be loved: a girl can lie about her virginity status once she's 
emotionally into a guy so as to avoid been dumped by the guy. Telling the truth might 
make the guy change his mind so she lies to still have his attention.
4. she doesn't want to feel ashamed: if a girl finds a great guy and the guy kinda 
shows interest she does everything quiet right to keep getting more of his 
attention,if the guy asks about her virginity she go tell am say my uncle raped me 
one day when my mummy went to the market, it a horrible scenario for her to say it 
to his face that am not a virgin she go feel the guy go dey see her differently as 
perceived before.
5 Ego: girls generally are portrayed as the weaker vessel when it comes sex affair 
and a woman's pride is her womanhood and it is seen in most settings that men tend 
to respect and value a woman who's still a virgin. A woman can lie sometimes about 
her virginity to protect her ego for the to hold her in high esteem. Ooopsy am lost of

NLNG Industrial Training Requirement

GUIDELINES FOR SIWES/IT APPLICATION
Letter of introduction(On institution’s 
letter head paper) from student’s institution 
(NUC/NBTE approved) clearly indicating the 
following
Student’s name
Course of study
Level of study
Duration of SIWES program
Start and End date
Name, signature and stamp of 
institution’s SIWES/IT Coordinator
Hand Written Application addressed to the 
Manager HR Services . This should indicate 
student’s email address and phone number 
boldly on the top right hand side.
Valid Student Identity Card
2 recent passport photographs
Students last semester’s registration 
payment receipt
Student Log book(s) issued by the 
requesting institution
Note
At the point of applying for a SIWES/IT 
placement, photocopies of the above 
documents must be submitted. The originals 
of these documents must be sighted before 
any student is accepted and offered 
placement.
Any application without any of the above 
documents will not be considered.
All applications must be submitted NOT 
LATER than 2 months before student’s 
SIWES/IT Commencement date indicated in 
their letter of request.
Applications can only be submitted on the 
last week of each Month.
Application submission time is 9am–2 pm daily. The 
Venue is Employee services Section (HRP/1) I.A. 
Admin Building Bonny and NLNG ISB Reception 
Port Harcourt. Enquiries can also be made on such 
days.
SIWES/IT intake will be done Quarterly 
(commencing 2 quarter of each year) this 
means NLNG will ONLY accept Students in 
April, July and October yearly.
Duration for SIWES application remains 6 
months (at a stretch) for University 
students and 4 months for ND students from 
Polytechnics who have completed their 1 
year (ITF requirement). While Industrial 
Training (1 year) is reserved for Post ND 
Polytechnic graduates seeking Admission for 
HND (NBTE requirement).
Application Process
Student applies at least 2 months before 
commencement date of his/her program.
Application is considered using (but not 
limited to) the criteria mentioned above.
Acceptance list in accordance with demand 
from Departments is released by HRP/1, two 
weeks to the commencement date for each 
Quarter.
Student checks names on the list. If 
Successful, receives an offer letter in which 
the Induction date is stated. 
Students commence program after their 
induction.
Candidates who could not attend induction 
will be replaced by another candidate on the 
wait list.
NOTE
Please be rest assured that all applications 
will be considered based on its merit and in 
accordance with the National Guidelines 
issued by ITF/NBTE.
Students studying for Diploma 
Certificates in the Universities or courses 
not listed in ITF’s SIWES Guidelines booklet 
need not apply.
NLNG does not provide accommodation.

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has published a Mop Up 
Admission List of candidates offered provisional admission into her 
various first degree programmes for the 2014/2015 academic 
session.
This is the 6th and probably the final admission list for 
undergraduates to be published by the school authorities in the 
2014/2015 academic year.

INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES OFFERED PROVISIONAL 
ADMISSIONS FOR THE 2013/2014 ACADEMIC SESSION:
Candidates offered provisional admission are required to adopt 
the following guidelines to regularize their acceptance of the 
offer:
1) Visit the University of Nigeria website 
(www.unn.edu.ng) or portal (http://unnportal.unn.edu.ng), 
log in your JAMB Registration number to generate and download a 
unique Payment Invoice for acceptance fee. Take the Invoice to 
any branch Zenith bank or UBA on the e-tranzact platform to 
pay twenty five thousand naira (N25,000.00) acceptance fee. 
Ensure that the Invoice Number is keyed in appropriately at the 
bank and obtain a confirmation slip containing a Confirmation 
Number and your Invoice Number.
2) Visit the University of Nigeria website (www.unn.edu.ng) or 
portal (http://unnportal.unn.edu.ng) again and login your JAMB 
Registration Number, the Confirmation Number and Invoice 
Number, then print the Admission slip and complete the 
Acceptance Form online.
3) Proceed with other fee payments and registration as indicated 
on the University of Nigeria website.

Things you need to stop doing!!

When you stop chasing the wrong things you give 
the right things a chance to catch you.
As Maria Robinson once said, “Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but 
anyone can start today and make a new ending.” Nothing could be closer to the 
truth. But before you can begin this process of transformation you have to stop 
doing the things that have been holding you back. 
Here are some ideas to get you started:
1.Stop spending time with the wrong people.– Life is too short to spend time with 
people who suck the happiness out of you. If someone wants you in their life, they’ll 
make room for you. You shouldn’t have to fight for a spot. Never, ever insist 
yourself to someone who continuously overlooks your worth. And remember, it’s not 
the people that stand by your side when you’re at your best, but the ones who stand 
beside you when you’re at your worst that are your true friends.
2.Stop running from your problems.– Face them head on. No, it won’t be easy. There 
is no person in the world capable of flawlessly handling every punch thrown at them. 
We aren’t supposed to be able to instantly solve problems. That’s not how we’re made. 
In fact, we’re made to get upset, sad, hurt, stumble and fall. Because that’s the 
whole purpose of living – to face problems, learn, adapt, and solve them over the 
course of time. This is what ultimately molds us into the person we become.
3.Stop lying to yourself.– You can lie to anyone else in the world, but you can’t lie to 
yourself. Our lives improve only when we take chances, and the first and most 
difficult chance we can take is to be honest with ourselves.
4.Stop putting your own needs on the back burner.– The most painful thing is losing 
yourself in the process of loving someone too much, and forgetting that you are 
special too. Yes, help others; but help yourself too. If there was ever a moment to 
follow your passion and do something that matters to you, that moment is now.
5.Stop trying to be someone you’re not.– One of the greatest challenges in life is 
being yourself in a world that’s trying to make you likeeveryone else. Someone will 
always be prettier, someone will always be smarter, someone will always be younger, 
but they will never be you. Don’t change so people will like you. Be yourself and the 
right people will love the real you.
6.Stop trying to hold onto the past.– You can’t start the next chapter of your life if 
you keep re-reading your last one.
7.Stop being scared to make a mistake.– Doing something and getting it wrong is at 
least ten times more productive than doing nothing. Every success has a trail of 
failures behind it, and every failure is leading towards success. You end up regretting 
the things you did NOT do far more than the things you did.
8.Stop berating yourself for old mistakes.– We may love the wrong person and cry 
about the wrong things, but no matter how things go wrong, one thing is for sure, 
mistakes help us find the person and things that are right for us. We all make 
mistakes, have struggles, and even regret things in our past. But you are not your 
mistakes, you are not your struggles, and you are here NOW with the power to shape 
your day and your future. Every single thing that has ever happened in your life is 
preparing you for a moment that is yet to come.
9.Stop trying to buy happiness.– Many of the things we desire are expensive. But the 
truth is, the things that really satisfy us are totally free – love, laughter and 
working on our passions.
10.Stop exclusively looking to others for happiness.– If you’re not happy with who you 
are on the inside, you won’t be happy in a long-term relationship with anyone else 
either. You have to create stability in your own life first before you can share it with 
someone else.
11.Stop being idle.– Don’t think too much or you’ll create a problem that wasn’t even 
there in the first place. Evaluate situations and take decisive action. You cannot 
change what you refuse to confront. Making progress involves risk. Period! You can’t 
make it to second base with your foot on first.
12.Stop thinking you’re not ready.– Nobody ever feels 100% ready when an 
opportunity arises. Because most great opportunities in life force us to grow beyond 
our comfort zones, which means we won’t feel totally comfortable at first.
13.Stop getting involved in relationships for the wrong reasons.– Relationships must 
be chosen wisely. It’s better to be alone than to be in bad company. There’s no need 
to rush. If something is meant to be, it will happen – in the right time, with the 
right person, and for the best reason. Fall in love when you’re ready, not when 
you’re lonely.
14.Stop rejecting new relationships just because old ones didn’t work.– In life you’ll 
realize that there is a purpose for everyone you meet. Some will test you, some will 
use you and some will teach you. But most importantly, some will bring out the best 
in you.
15.Stop trying to compete against everyone else.– Don’t worry about what others are 
doing better than you. Concentrate on beating your own records every day. Success is 
a battle between YOU and YOURSELF only.
16.Stop being jealous of others.– Jealousy is the art of counting someone else’s 
blessings instead of your own. Ask yourself this: “What’s something I have that 
everyone wants?”
17.Stop complaining and feeling sorry for yourself.– Life’s curveballs are thrown for 
a reason – to shift your path in a direction that is meant for you. You may not see or 
understand everything the moment it happens, and it may be tough. But reflect back 
on those negative curveballs thrown at you in the past. You’ll often see that 
eventually they led you to a better place, person, state of mind, or situation. So 
smile! Let everyone know that today you are a lot stronger than you were yesterday, 
and you will be.
18.Stop holding grudges.– Don’t live your life with hate in your heart. You will end up 
hurting yourself more than the people you hate. Forgiveness is not saying, “What you 
did to me is okay.” It is saying, “I’m not going to let what you did to me ruin my 
happiness forever.” Forgiveness is the answer… let go, find peace, liberate yourself! 
And remember, forgiveness is not just for other people, it’s for you too. If you must, 
forgive yourself, move on and try to do better next time.
19.Stop letting others bring you down to their level.– Refuse to lower your standards 
to accommodate those who refuse to raise theirs.
20.Stop wasting time explaining yourself to others.– Your friends don’t need it and 
your enemies won’t believe it anyway. Just do what you know in your heart is right.
21.Stop doing the same things over and over without taking a break.– The time to 
take a deep breath is when you don’t have time for it. If you keep doing what you’re 
doing, you’ll keep getting what you’re getting. Sometimes you need to distance 
yourself to see things clearly.
22.Stop overlooking the beauty of small moments.– Enjoy the little things, because 
one day you may look back and discover they were the big things. The best portion of 
your life will be the small, nameless moments you spend smiling with someone who 
matters to you.
23.Stop trying to make things perfect.– The real world doesn’t reward 
perfectionists, it rewards people who get things done.(Read Getting Things Done.)
24.Stop following the path of least resistance.– Life is not easy, especially when you 
plan on achieving something worthwhile. Don’t take the easy way out. Do something 
extraordinary.
25.Stop acting like everything is fine if it isn’t.– It’s okay to fall apart for a little 
while. You don’t always have to pretend to be strong, and there is no need to 
constantly prove that everything is going well. You shouldn’t be concerned with what 
other people are thinking either – cry if you need to – it’s healthy to shed your 
tears. The sooner you do, the sooner you will be able to smile again.
26.Stop blaming others for your troubles.– The extent to which you can achieve your 
dreams depends on the extent to which you take responsibility for your life. When you 
blame others for what you’re going through, you deny responsibility – you give others 
power over that part of your life.
27.Stop trying to be everything to everyone.– Doing so is impossible, and trying will 
only burn you out. But making one person smile CAN change the world. Maybe not the 
whole world, but their world. So narrow your focus.
28.Stop worrying so much.– Worry will not strip tomorrow of its burdens, it will strip 
today of its joy. One way to check if something is worth mulling over is to ask 
yourself this question: “Will this matter in one year’s time? Three years? Five 
years?” If not, then it’s not worth worrying about.
29.Stop focusing on what you don’t want to happen.– Focus on what you do want to 
happen. Positive thinking is at the forefront of every great success story. If you 
awake every morning with the thought that something wonderful will happen in your 
life today, and you pay close attention, you’ll often find that you’re right.
30.Stop being ungrateful.– No matter how good or bad you have it, wake up each day 
thankful for your life. Someone somewhere else is desperately fighting for theirs. 
Instead of thinking about what you’re missing, try thinking about what you have that 
everyone else is missing

An Open Letter To My Future Boyfriend

Relationships are aimed to increase the “happiness quotient” in our lives. The 
first relationship is special to each and every one – the expectations, aspirations, 
dreams, fantasies, faults, more misunderstandings, etc. However, it tells us who 
we are and what we practically expect from a relationship. Moreover a break up 
makes us stronger. 
I have seen a lot many of my friends, being more mature after ending up their 
first relationship. But girls always take longer time to overcome the breakup 
blues. So I have decided to dedicate this post to the lovely ladies all over the 
world because I believe that every girl is special and she deserves the man who is 
the best for her and brings out the best in her. Before thinking of any future 
relationship, a girl must learn to love herself and the present moment 
because the key to finding true love is self love. 
In an open letter to my future boyfriend I would like to include all the things 
that make a relationship worthy of lasting till eternity. Here it goes:
My Dear Future Boyfriend, 
I have seen my share of immature first loves and the painful heartbreaks that 
follow. When I look back now, I feel that I have grown up. I know my priorities in 
life. I know myself and I am deeply, madly, and passionately in love with myself.
At the moment I don’t want a boyfriend. I don’t want to flaunt among my 
friends because I already have an awesome life.
But one day in my future I will need someone. Someone who can complete and 
compliment me. Someone who trusts me. Someone who understands me.

grievances.

is build out of trust and patience, which has only love and longing to be the best 
for the best.
I want someone who is daring enough to steal the princess from her own self.
Someone who looks beyond the figure and physical appearances and sees my true 
inner core. Someone who looks me in the eyes and connects with my soul.
Someone who allows me to be stupid and childish. Someone who strengthens me 
daily before I go to work. Someone who is my friend to support and understand 
me with my ways. Someone with whom I am free to be my own self. 
Together we will define love.
I want someone who can define love in my life. Love – as pure as the snow, as 
pious as the divine, as strong as the mountains, as beautiful as the stars 
twinkling above.
I know if he exists, I will meet him at the perfect time and in the perfect way.
And I will change into my true self through him and for him. I will be changed.
But what I love most is the irony that he won’t care if I change or stay the 
same, because he will love me no matter what.
I am happy with my life and with each passing day. I am learning new ways to 
love myself. I am enjoying being single because it allows me to dream of you 
while pursuing my own dreams.
I wish the same accelerates with your entry into my life.

Nigeria To Ban Pornographic Websites - NSA Sambo Dasuki

The National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, 
says the Federal Government is planning to 
introduce a law that will ban and block all porn 
websites in the country.
He stated this at the closing ceremony of a 
three-day workshop on use of social media 
organized for Islamic preachers, Imams and 
youth in Kaduna on Sunday.
The workshop, which was organised by the 
national body of Izalatil Bid’a Wa’iqamatis 
Sunna, JIBWIS, aimed at correcting what it 
considered anomalies in the use of social 
media.
Mr. Dasuki, who was represented by the 
Minister of Special Duties, Kabiru Turaki, said:
“Government is planning to ban and block 
websites that inculcate negative attitudes in 
our children but we need a law to support such 
move.
“Because without a law, people can go to court 
and claim infringement on their rights.”
While urging preachers to avoid use of 
unguided utterances against leaders, Mr. 
Dasuki said that preachers were not politicians 
but they must play politics.
In his remarks, Governor Muktar Yero of 
Kaduna State stressed the need for credible 
people to join politics in order to contribute 
their quota toward sanitizing the system.
He cautioned people against the use of social 
media negatively to blackmail others.
Mr. Yero called on Muslims to be united and 
intensify efforts on prayers toward a 
violence-free elections.
The National Chairman of the Islamic 
organisation, Abdullahi Bala-Lau, appealed to 
the Federal Government to do everything 
within its power to avoid blood shade, 
especially in the North-Eastern sub-region.
He urged leaders in the country to ensure 
equity, justice and fair play in leading 
Nigerian citizens irrespective of their religious 
affiliation.
Mr. Bala-Lau advised politicians not to use the 
workshop venue to send provocative messages 
to their rivals.
The Emir of Zazzau, Shehu Idris, who was 
represented by Yahaya Yusuf, called on 
Muslims to emulate the holy Prophet of Islam 
in both character and action to attract more

returning Post Graduate students (2nd year and above) by 50 percent.

5 Things Every Married Man Should Do Around Single Women

For some of you, you have been working around the same women for some time. You 
might have chosen many times to engage in flirty conversation or to go out with co- 
workers after work. If this is you and your wife is at home waiting for you, then it’s 
time to step back and assess your position as the husband and leader. Take the 
necessary steps to make your relationship with your wife the most important one 
again and don’t forget it. Lead, gentlemen, lead!
Even though those were only a couple of quick examples, I know there are a few of 
you out there who need to step up your role as a husband. Those examples don’t apply 
to you? Then consider who you know and talk to at your gym, the grocery store, the 
local hangout or wherever. These “simple” places could produce difficult relationships 
that will harm your relationship and love with your wife. Man up and do what needs to 
be done for your marriage!
Now that I have your attention, here are five things every married man should do 
around single women:
1. Keep your ring on. There are very few exceptions for when that ring needs to be 
off, like when operating heavy machinery, swimming in shark-infested waters and the 
like. If you are about to enter a situation that makes you look at your ring and 
consider if you need it on or not, leave! Run! Get away from there! Seriously, get 
out of that situation; your vows, marriage, children and more depend on those 
important decisions. (Read Luke16:10.)
2. Hang up pictures of your wife at work. A married man in this position would be wise 
to pick out a couple of great and fun photos of him and his wife and keep them 
displayed at his office or place of work. Pick a time that was fun for two reasons: It 
will remind you why you love her so much, and it will make for a great conversation 
tool when others, especially women, ask about it. Update the image as needed to keep 
the people around you knowing your relationship is continuing to grow.
3. Keep eye contact simple and short. Don’t read this the wrong way; I’m not saying 
to be rude. I’m saying to be careful where your eyes travel and how long they travel 
when you are in the presence of an attractive single woman. You know that once you 
engage in the first serious look, you have signed the dotted line for more eye 
trouble. (Read more about that “first look” here.) Keep it short, keep it decisive, and 
move on. Get back to that image posted at your desk. Go! (Read Matthew 5:28.)
4. Keep conversation general and professional. If you work around single women, there 
is no question that conversation will come up. It’s up to you on how you decide to 
speak with her. You can choose to keep it short and general, you can choose to keep 
it professional, or you can choose to keep it off of those and allow it go places it 
shouldn't. Be polite but very intentional in your conversations. If needed, again, 
always be ready to bring up something about your wife or family. Pull the pin, aim, 
and extinguish. Safety first. (Read Romans 6:13.)
5. Talk about your wife and family often. Did I mention anything about talking about 
your wife in conversation yet? I believe I did, but this last point brings the idea to a 
firm home. The single women you engage with each day, if you have to, should be no 
match to your wife and family. Your family should be your first priority wherever 
you are and with whomever you encounter each day. Yes, each and every day. Keep it 
short, keep it simple, and mention your beautiful wife. Now pat yourself on the back 
and keep it up. (Read Ephesians 5:25-33.)
Important note: No matter what you have done with your current relationships with 
single women, these steps can and should be started at anytime. Your wife’s feelings 
are and will always be more important than the woman you need to take these steps 
with. Get on it!

As the world marked the third annual Global Female Condom Day on September 16, 
2014, more facts emerged as to why the female condom is yet to gain popularity 
comparable to the long existing male condom.
With the theme “Dance4Demand” as coined by the Global Female Condom Coalition, 
the day was marked by dancing to call for and creation of awareness for the demand 
of female condoms.
To date, the global distribution of female condoms is still far less than that of male 
condoms as the former remains a less popular, with only 13 percent of persons having 
heard of the female condom, and much fewer having ever used one.
Since it was approved by the FDA in 1993, the female condom has slowly grown in 
popularity but continues to lag behind its male version in terms of acceptance.
A variation of the male condom, the female condom has many of the same attributes 
and advantages the male condom is famous for.
Essentially, female condoms are sheaths, or linings that fit loosely inside a woman’s 
vagina made of thin, transparent, soft plastic. They work by forming a barrier that 
keeps sperm out to prevent pregnancy. They also keep infections from infecting one 
or the other partner.
They have flexible rings at both ends. One ring at the closed end helps to insert the 
condom. The ring at the open end holds part of the condom outside the vagina. The 
condom is lubricated on the inside and on the outside.
Made for women
According to findings, although female condoms play a vital role in improving 
reproductive health, and are the only method designed to offer woman dual 
protection from pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections, the average woman 
still prefers the far more simplistic but relatively more efficacious male condom.
Although simple to use, a number of women find the female condom irritating to 
insert and bothersome during sex. But experts say through practice and experience, 
such concerns soon disappear.
Several women told Health & Living that male condoms give superioir sensation of 
pleasure than female condoms, in addition to enabling a more tension-free 
intercourse.
On the average, women describe female condom as “intrusive” and “difficult to use”, 
arguing that correct use needs to be learned before use. ”
You need to put it on long before intercourse, and that could be a big turn-off,” a 
young woman related. Others said the female condom is noisy, messy, more expensive 
and less convenient to use than the male condom.
But in its favour, the experts say if correctly used during every act of sexual 
intercourse, in the course of a year, the female condom could be up to 95 percent 
effective in preventing pregnancy and in reducing the risk of sexually transmitted 
infections.
Preference
Nevertheless, quite a number of women (and men) prefer male condoms to female 
condoms, even though the female condom is more practical and empowering for the 
woman. With the female condom, women can initiate their use, they can be inserted 
ahead of time and so do not interrupt sexual intercourse, and the outer ring provides 
added sexual stimulation for some women.
Additionally, female condoms have a soft moist texture that feels more natural than 
male latex condoms. For men, unlike male condoms, they are not constricting, they do 
not dull the sensation of sex, and they do not have to be removed immediately after 
ejaculation.
Like the male condom, the female condom is very effective when used correctly and 
consistently. Experts say female condoms are 79 to 95 percent effective in 
preventing pregnancy, only slightly less effective than male condoms.
On the whole, findings reveal that the female condom has similar benefits as the 
male condom, including convenience, affordability, STD protection, and lack of side 
effects. One potential benefit of the female condom compared to the male version is 
that women can take independent, more active responsibility in preventing pregnancy.

Muhammadu Buhari, presidential candidate from the All Progressives 
Congress (APC), has not yet confirmed his attendance for any NEDG 
organized debate, according to a senior NEDG official. A letter was sent to 
SaharaReporters last week from The Nigeria Group, stating that APC should 
be weary of participating in any event organized by NEDG because of their 
alleged pro-Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stance. “NEDG cannot organize 
a credible debate…given its current composition,” and claimed that PDP 
received the debate questions in advance.
The Nigeria Election Debate Group (NEDG) provided revised timetables for the 
anticipated presidential debates to SaharaReporters in an interview. A NEDG official, 
with the group for many years, confirmed that there will be a total of six televised 
vice presidential and presidential debates on Feb. 1 and Feb. 8.

Reports emerged last week that a second group, with an alleged pro-APC stance, was 
organizing debates to counter NEDG’s. An official from an international election 
monitoring group told SaharaReporters that, “there are now two competing groups 
organizing debates, but neither platform has confirmation of both main [APC and 
PDP] presidential candidates.” When asked to comment a senior NEDG official said 
“NEDG is the only recognized platform for debate,” and cited its role in organizing 
the 2011 debates. No information on this alleged second group has emerged at the 
time of writing, and neither official could confirm any details.
The debates are expected to feature the four leading political parties, including PDP 
and APC, but NEDG is currently waiting for the list of established political parties 
from the Independent National Election Commission (INEC), a NEDG official told 
Sahara Reporters.
It is expected that vice presidential debates will be held on Feb. 1 and the 
presidential debates will be held on Feb. 8. The structure will have 3 two-hour sessions 
per day, and are expected to be televised on AIT, NTA, TV Continental, and Silverbird 
TV. NEDG is in early discussions with famed Nigerian broadcast journalist John Momoh 
to be the moderator, and will include two additional panelists.
According to NEDG, the debate times will be 12:00-14:00, 15:00-17:00, and 
19:00-21:00 West Africa Time Zone.

A 90-year-old woman identified as Hajia Mai Talle Tara is currently making 
headlines for donating her life savings, the sum of N1 million to Buhari’s

Former Westlife Singer,Mark Feehily now selling Tea from a Van

O yes ..Remember him...The formal Westlife Singer 
Mark , it has been long thou but westlife musics 
still rocks, the team disbanded disbanded in 2011 
after 14 years together. During their career, they 
notched 26 top 10 hits.
The 34 year old Mark has set up his own catering 
business. He travels round festivals with his van 
and he serves customers food and drinks himself 
from the back of his truck. When asked about it,
Mark said
"It's going really well, we've got 
loads of interest and we've booked 
it in with a lot of the music 
festivals and we're talking about 
doing some Irish ones as well. People 
were flabbergasted at the fact that 
I was in the van making crepes. 
People kind of have this thing 'Oh, 
he was in Westlife a few years ago 
and now he's making tea. It's my 
business and I love it, anything I 
get involved in I get involved 110%."
Mark says he hasn't given up on 
music yet though and is planning to 
launch a solo career. Westlife 
disbanded in 2011 after 14 years 
together. During their career, they 
notched 26 top 10 hits.
