Before you start with the "touch not my
anointed" slogan I suggest you peruse the post.
We have idolised men of God and anybody
who dares speak against a man of God's
ideology is termed blasphemous. I beg to
differ, I have a mind of my own and will
speak my mind and won't swallow what any
man says just because of his reputation.
Sorry to say this but I hav long lost whatever
atom of respect I have for Father Mbaka. I
am happy that the Catholic society distanced
themselves from his recent outbursts and
said he speaks for himself and not the
Catholic church. Since the reign of Dr.
Chimaroke Nnamani, I have noticed that
Mbaka makes it a point of duty to attack
every government in power. He so much
tarnished the Governor's name that I felt
pity for the man. Every sermon then had
negative things about Chimaroke. I totally
lost respect for him the day he vented and
proclaimed that Chimaroke would not ascend
the seat a second time. That if that happens
he would pull off his cassock. Well, we all
know the rest, Chimaroke Nnamani won the
election and Father Mbaka is yet to hand
over his cassock. Funny enough people still
ardently follow him like a messiah.
Truly
religion is the opium of the masses.
Reverend Father Mbaka, fought against
Sullivan Chime when he banned the use of
Motorcycles which has been anglicised
"Okada". He called the present Governor
wicked for trying to take the source of
livelihood from the masses. He tried making
his congregation vote someone else but it
didn't work. He said loads of things against
Chime. The Governor banned Okada because
it has caused a lot of mayhem in the state,
robbery attacks were made easy thanks to it,
orthopaedic hospital had a steady influx of
patients, thanks to it, ask staffs of
orthopaedic they will inform you that the
number of patients has drastically reduced.
Local bone setters have also had a turn down
of customers because of the ban. It was not
like there wasn't any alternative to
motorcycles. Keke Napep or Keke Marwa as
we know it was introduced and most of the
okada riders have switched to it so what
exactly is his problem?
I live in Enugu and it is almost impossible not
to hear things about him. If as a man of God
you feel the government is failing say so but
stop the cheap name calling. Did he have to
call the president names like " Badluck"? I
heard another tape years back he called GEJ
Esau, that he is the first son of Nigeria but
his birthright would be sold to Jacob. Lmao,
why are we even listening to this man again?
He is merely trying to sound relevant and to
do so he feels attacking the government is
his only shot. Controversy doesn't suit a priest.
Lest I forget, did you hear of his controversy
with Union Bank? Oh, the reverend father
resorts to cheap blackmail and lies to get at
people. He had a problem with Union Bank
and he withdrew all his money from the bank
and then made a statement urging his
followers to take away their cash from thr
bank because the bank was about collapsing.
If Union Bank didn't fold up then it is by the
Grace of God. People all over Nigeria began
withdrawing their cash and closing their
accounts because of his statement.
The bank
had to go around and beg people not to leave
that the bank was not folding up.
This is the man many of you listen to and nod
your heads to his teachings. What a man of God!!
